About Us
Dr. Maron received his D.D.S. from Emory University in 1986, followed by five years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Emory University and affiliated hospitals. He also completed a Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Emory. He is the Chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery section of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite Hospital. He is also a clinical Assistant Professor at Emory University, Grady Hospital and Crawford Long. Dr. Maron is also a consultant to the American Cancer Society for their Oral Health Program. Dr. Maron is the Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Atlanta Thrashers hockey club, the Atlanta Braves baseball team, and the Atlanta Falcons football team. He was the official Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Dr. Maron is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which means that he is highly qualified to diagnose, manage and treat conditions that affect the teeth, mouth, jaw and face. He can remove non-cancerous and cancerous growths, as well as treat dental facial-related deformities by performing Orthognathic and Reconstructive Surgery to improve functions and aesthetics.
