Estelle, hosts media and music insiders at Frank Ski's restaurant and celebrates new album release | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
ATLANTA -- R & B star, Estelle, was once again back in Atlanta days before her sold out show at CenterStage tonight. The Atlantic Records artist gave an exclusive "first listen" of her new album to a small group of press and local music insiders who gathered at Frank Ski's Restaurant in Midtown late Sunday evening.
This was my 2nd time meeting Estelle and she was as gracious and personable as ever. She greeted the small room one-on-one and thanked each of us for being there before playing tracks from the new album. "All of Me" is her third album and the follow up to her 2008 record, Shine.

What stands out on this album, and what is sure to propell her on a number of music charts is that there are a number of fun "soul-pop" tracks that are unresistingly energetic and earthy. She could very well have hits on both the Pop Charts and the R&B or Soul Charts. If you like the rap infused collaborations, she has a couple of those and even does her own rapping on one of the best tracks.
The new album "All of Me" will be released on February 28th and Estelle is here tonight (2/20) performing at CenterStage.
When asked about her country mate's success at this year's Grammy's, she said about Adele, "It was great, now I hope she does no more sad songs! I love Adele!"
