ATLANTA -- A bestselling author will give a talk and sign copies of her latest book at SCAD Atlanta this week.

Camille Paglia, a professor of humanities and media studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, is the author of Glittering Images: A Journey Through Art from Egypt to Star Wars. In the book, she examines more than two dozen pieces of art that have influenced the world.

Paglia's talk begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 at SCAD Atlanta's Events Space. Admission is free with the purchase of Glittering Images ($32) or $10 without a copy of the book. SCAD students and employees will be admitted free with proper ID.
