Social Media Expert Hosts Conference for Independent Event and Meeting Planners at Westin Buckhead

For the fifth (5th) year in a row, The Ware Agency will host its annual event and meeting planners training conference, rebranded as Inspire! Imagine! And Ignite! The Event Mastery Conference taking place November 11th and 12th at the Westin Buckhead. With a heavy emphasis on social media, the conference always attracts planners and event producers from all across the nation and internationally. Founder and Social Media Expert, Robin M. Ware, CMP, launched the event to train faith-based planners and Pastors with a goal to use social media to lessen major marketing expenses for the variety of conferences and annual meetings, "And it worked!" Ware explains, "As a professional meeting and event planner, I launched this conference to assist faith-based clients with the 'inside secrets' to planning events and how to use social media to save tons of money." Registration is taking place now through November 10th with special guest rates.

Inspire! Imagine! & Ignite! is a two-day event that will provide a wealth of knowledge on how to plan, execute and master any conference whether large-scale or intimate.  Attendees will be introduced to the following:

  • Meeting site selection
  • Contract negotiation
  • How to become a niche meeting planner
  • How to launch a signature event
  • How to attract celebrities, artists and popular speakers for free
  • How to become an industry expert, industry speaker and much more

In 2009, meetings generated a total economic impact of more than $900 billion that makes it bigger than high-profile industries such as air transportation, gambling and auto manufacturing-a fact not many people are aware of, except the millions of people who work in the industry every day.  The popularity of the conference has grown and each year more non faith-based planners attend.  "We outgrow our space with more planners attending every year," shares Ware.  "They always leave with fresh perspective and rejuvenation ready to capitalize on an industry out-pacing some of the more traditional corporate professions."

Since social media has aided to the success of the event, Ware will teach a full segment on how she utilizes social media to promote her events for $200 or less and her client events for a fraction of their normal budgets.  She also will share how to outsource to international partners. "Outsourcing is nothing new, but entrepreneurs need to understand how it works and that it is a viable option for them as well as corporate giants."

Ware provides custom training to churches on how to use social media to grow their events, communicate with their members and grow their congregations.  Bishop Paul S. Morton, 61, Pastor of mega church, Changing a Generation in Atlanta, is one of her clients and started using social media after Ware trained him. He now has over 10,000 followers on Twitter.  She also worked with a 10,000 person convention at the GWCC and hosted a live stream of their conference that generated 5000 unique views directly from Facebook and from purchasing a custom mobile app, they cut their printing budget by 45 percent.   "Attendees will learn this and so much more at our conference," says Ware.  "Meeting and event planners everywhere will gain valuable knowledge and insights that will help take their craft to the next level."
