Fulton County Cooperative Extension Offers Free Workshop on Basic Personal Finance | Events

Fulton County Cooperative Extension will sponsor a free Money Matters!: Basic Personal Finance workshop on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 10:00am – 2:30pm at the H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Center located at 2885 Church Street in East Point, GA 30344.  Pre-registration is required by June 8.  Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

Participants will learn how to assess their personal financial situation and how to:

• Set and plan to achieve goals
• Plan spending
• Use financial institutions
• Understand the ins and outs of credit
• Plan for the unexpected
• Take steps to protect assets
