Fulton County approves fee increase to support environmental health services

ATLANTA -- The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has approved a resolution enabling Fulton County Health Services’ Division of Environmental Health to implement a 10% fee increase effective April 1, 2013.

According to the Division, the fee increase is necessary due to the increased cost of providing Environmental Health Services to the more than 4,700 permitted restaurants, 1,700 swimming pools and 220 tourist accommodations in the County.  The last fee increase was implemented February 1, 2009 and was based on services provided for the 2007 fiscal year.

The new fee schedule can viewed at www.fultoncountygahealth.org.
