Catering to a Trend -- Atlanta's Food Truck Park Opens
News

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Cheesesteaks. Chicken and Waffles. Meatballs. Cupcakes. Gelato.

The wide-ranging menu is courtesy of Atlanta's Only Permanent Food Truck Park.

More than a dozen food trucks rolled in for the kick-off event tonight at 1850 Howell Mill Road, just off I-75. The rehabilitated site was packed for the first meal.

Sweet Auburn Barbeque food truck owner Howard Hsu and his partner Brian Harvin are behind the new business venture.

"The Atlanta Food Truck Park and Market" will be open seven-days a week serving lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

In the story above, photojournalist Gary Stilwell takes you to the permanent site on Howell Mill Road.
