Midtown water main to be repaired early Thursday | News

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Water in a large part of Midtown Atlanta is expected to be back on early Thursday morning -- as a result of repairs from a water main break at the intersection of Juniper and Tenth Streets on Wednesday afternoon. 

According to Janet Ward with the Department of Watershed Management, the repair should be completed about 4:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. The break was on a 12-inch main. 

Water will be off, Ward said, between 12th Street and 5th Street in Midtown during the repair. She did not indicate how far east or west the shut-off would extend. Ward also said she does not know how long the repair will take.
