Commuter Dude drives a soapbox | News
ATLANTA -- It seems like everyone wants to get in on the action of this weekend's Red Bull Soapbox Race, including 11Alive's own Commuter Dude.
During Thursday's morning show, John "Commuter Dude" Gerard spoke to race organizers before climbing into his own soapbox outside 11Alive's Midtown studio and taking off.
Dude drove his soapbox down the hill, into the parking lot and through the station gate before finally stopping in the Monroe Place cul-de-sac.
The Red Bull Soapbox Race will be held this Saturday, June 9 on 10th Street outside Piedmont Park.
