Accident blocks all lanes of I-85 south
ATLANTA -- An accident shut down all lanes of southbound Interstate 85 near Buford Highway Tuesday morning.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said a car hit the median on I-85.
Crews closed all lanes of the highway while they worked to clear the scene. As of 8:45 a.m., only the HOV and leftmost lanes remain closed.
One person was injured in the wreck, but that person's name and condition have not been released, GDOT said.
