Center for Puppetry Arts announces new production | News

(MIDTOWN) -- Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts will present a special production for young children beginning in August.

"The Tortoise, The Hare, and Other Aesop's Fables" will be shown in the Downstairs Theater, and run from August 2 through September 9. 

During those times, the puppets can be watched Thursdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m. 1 and 3 p.m., and Sundays at 1 and 3 p.m.

The Center for Puppetry Arts will present five tales in a new format specifically designed to engage and educate children between the ages of two and six, and parents. Audiences can expect music, bright colors and minimal dialogue from director Michael Haverty.
