ATLANTA -- For the third year, the Battle of the Burgers and 5K will hit Atlanta streets on Saturday, September 8 at John Howell Park.

Put on by Embraced, whose mission is to provide assistive mobility and prosthetic devices to individuals in need, the run will begin at 9 a.m., and include other festivities from noon to 5 p.m.

Runners will take on the 5K race, and eat a burger before they cross the finish line. For every ticket sold, Embraced will help five people in need.

During the afternoon, local restaurants will compete in a "Best Burger" contest, where attendees vote for their favorites. There will be live music from Whiskey Belt, Julie Gribble and Wesley Cook, and activities for kids.
