Georgia Tech student falls at Dodd stadium
News

ATLANTA, Ga. -- A Georgia Tech Freshman  fell nearly 15 feet from the student section at Bobby Dodd stadium Saturday during the first quater of the Georgia Tech-Middle Tellessee State football game.  Last week a Georgia Tech fan fell 35 feet during the Georgia Tech-Miami football game.

Both were treated in the separate incidents at Grady Hospital and released.

In Saturday's incident, the student fell  into the passageway out of the stadium injuring his shoulder. Athletic officials say he was leaning over to talk to someone when he fell.

Georgia Tech termed the incidents accidential and caused by the fans themselves. They say they do not plan any special investigation.

They say this is the first time anyone has fallen from the stands at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
