News

ATLANTA -- Oscar de la Renta’s gowns have been worn by royalty and celebrities. Some of the late-designer’s most recognizable dresses and gowns from the last 50 years are currently on display in Atlanta, including pieces worn by former first lady Laura Bush, Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey. They’re part of the inaugural exhibition at SCAD FASH, Atlanta’s newest fashion museum, on the campus of The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In addition, select garments by Oscar de la Renta’s new creative director Peter Copping are also on display.

The exhibition celebrating the house of the late-designer ends December 31. For more information on tickets and pricing, click here

With more on SCAD FASH and Oscar de la Renta’s fashions, Museum Manager Rachel Evans explains the exhibit to 11Alive’s Melissa Long.
