Construction underway on tallest Midtown building since 2009 | News
ATLANTA — Construction is underway for the tallest addition to Midtown Atlanta's skyline since the Great Recession.
It's called the the "Spring Midtown" and the new skyscraper will stand at the corner of Spring and 14th Streets.
The tower, being developed by a Florida-based firm called "Related Group," is slated to have nearly 400 luxury apartments and stand 38 stories tall. Once completed, it'll be the tallest building to open in Atlanta since 2009.
In addition to the housing units, the development will include a Whole Foods grocery store along with a pub, microbrewery, a cooking school and other restaurants.
"Spring Midtown" is expected to open at the beginning of 2018.
