Man stabbed outside Midtown nightclub

ATLANTA – Police say a man was stabbed outside of a Midtown Atlanta nightclub Friday night.

Authorities said that Ramo Shrieff got into a fight with another man inside of Bulldogs night club.

After the two were escorted out of the club, the suspect then got a knife from his car and stabbed Sherieff, authorities said.

The suspect fled in a dark colored Ford Escape. He is still being sought by police.

Sherieff, who is in town from Washington D.C., was stabbed in the chest, but is expected to recover.

Ga. Tech students tied up, robbed inside apartment

ATLANTA -- Two Georgia Tech students were robbed inside their off-campus apartment Monday morning.

The victims told Atlanta Police two suspects entered their apartment in the 500 block of Lovejoy Street shortly before 3 a.m. They got inside through the door, which was kept open because the air conditioning was not working.

According to a police report, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The suspects tied up the victims with socks and stole their electronics and about $120 in cash. They then ran from the apartment.

The victims described their attackers as two black men.

The robbery is under investigation.

Atlanta police investigating racial Elmer Fudd graffiti

ATLANTA -- Atlanta police are investigating controversial graffiti left on the side of a Midtown building. 

The image of the cartoon character Elmer Fudd wearing a police uniform, holding a shotgun along with the words "Negro Season" on a sign, was painted on the garage of a building on West Peachtree Street. The image had the tag name of MAES.

Local AT&T workers gather downtown, demand new contracts

ATLANTA -- Union workers with AT&T hit the picket line in downtown Atlanta, Saturday, demanding a new labor contract.

The "Communication Workers of America" descended on the AT&T headquarters on West Peachtree Street.
