APS Board postpones decision on Davis | People
ATLANTA -- On Monday night, the Atlanta Public Schools Board met to discuss whether interim superintendent Dr. Erroll Davis should take over the position permanently.
Some North Atlanta High parents gathered at the meeting as an act of protest due to the recent removal of the principal of their school.

At the culmination of the meeting, the board decided not to decide on whether Davis would be retained. The board decided to make a decision regarding Dr. Davis in November or December.
If Davis is permanently placed, he will be the superintendent of the Atlanta Public School system for two years.
