Free Dinner At Loca Luna

Free Dinner At Loca Luna

A midtown Atlanta restaurant is serving free dinner for two days this month.

Local Luna has been a midtown hot spot for spanish style tapas, live music and dancing for 12 years.  To celebrate their anniversary and to remind the public about their new
Amsterdam Avenue location the owners are scaling back the menu to 20 items and offering them free of charge on Sunday, February 27th and Monday February 28th.

"Basically what we're doing is inviting the public to come in free to
eat for two days," said co-owner Brian Fasthoff.

Is there a catch? Fastoff says no. "Be reasonable; realize we are feeding a lot of people for free so obviously we don't want to waste food but if they want to eat it, we'll be happy to feed it to them," he said.

Last year's anniversary freebee drew a huge crowd so reservations are required.

FOOD REVIEW: Seasons 52 – Buckhead, Atlanta GA

FOOD REVIEW: Seasons 52 – Buckhead, Atlanta GA

Seasons 52 is a swanky, healthy alternative to bloated upscale dining. Everything on the menu is under 500 calories but, not to worry, you will NOT be leaving hungry – I PROMISE!

I ordered the Caramelized Sea Scallops and Melanie chose the Cedar Plank Atlantic Salmon. While we waited for our entrées, we couldn’t help but notice how pleasant the ambience is at Seasons 52. Yes it’s upscale, but it is also very comfortable and relaxing and just a great place to enjoy a meal.

Tickets to Oysterfest are on sale for $15 but the price will increase. Admission does not include food or drinks, however, it does guarantee your attendance at what some call, “The hottest ticket in town”.

Bands to perform include: Life and Limb; Abbey Road, a Beatles Tribute Band and Block Party, an 80’s cover band.

Atlanta Botanical Garden to open a MetroFresh

Atlanta Botanical Garden to open a MetroFresh

Every establishment has a story, but you haven't heard a story quite like actor-turned-chef Mitchell Anderson, owner of Metro Fresh, a community restaurant that offers delicious healthy, gluten-free alternatives to food on the go!

Most of us are guilty of sleeping a little later; therefore, we're running behind, so naturally it's easier to grab a sausage biscuit or a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut and a cup of coffee while on the go. However, Metro Fresh replaces the pork, sugar and caffeine with grilled chicken, granola and fresh fruits...on the go! Now you can enjoy Metro Fresh at another popular tourist site in Atlanta.

My boss Munson Steed is a huge fan of asian food, so we headed out to RA SUSHI to try for lunch. When we walked in the place was gorgeous. I loved the red and black decor, furniture and artifacts. Bryan the manager, greeted us and showed us to our seats. As Brian put it, “Ra Sushi is a rock n roll sushi spot!” He was sure right because the atmosphere was fun, great music was pumping and you felt good being there. They have a full bar area, indoor and outdoor seating, private party area, upstairs and downstairs dining and more.  CLICK HEAR TO READ THE FULL REVIEW ON RA SUSHI.
