Atlanta Food Trucks Convene in Midtown, 7-10pm

Tonight, from 7-10 p.m., the HUB in conjunction with the Atlanta Streetfood Coalition are hosting a Streetfood Soiree bringing some of the most popular food trucks in Atlanta, together, for this once monthly event.

Barks and Boo(ze) in Midtown

“Bark Crawls for Booze Hounds”, a bar crawl for furry friends and their human parents will take place every Wednesday during the months of October and November.

Party people and pet owners, alike, can rest assured, there’s finally some Halloween action for every yuppie and their puppy.

Young Professionals Mixer at Aqua Blue

ATLANTA -- The Junior Chamber International Atlanta and Johns Creek Young Professionals are teaming up to host a mixer and fundraiser at Aqua Blue (1564 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, 30076).

The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Attendance is $10, or $5 with two canned goods.

Participants will enjoy free appetizers, $3 beers and the opportunity to mingle, network and make a difference. Magician Joe Turner is scheduled to perform. The money raised will go to North Fulton Community Charities.

Toulouse Celebrates 16th Anniversary

ATLANTA -- Toulouse (2293 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, 30309) is having a birthday party and you're invited.

In honor of the restaurant's 16th anniversary, Toulouse will serve $16 entrées and $16 bottles of wine from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 10. Approximately 60 wines, normally priced up to $50, will be available during this 10-day celebration.

Midtown Festival Of The Arts Dishes Out Full Plate of Culinary Options

Oktoberfest at Gordon Biersch

Beginning September 14th, guests at Gordon Biersch (848 Peachtree St NE) can enjoy the new limited-time-only menu, featuring two starters, seven entrees, and one desert, all made-from-scratch.  German food fans will be sure to love the Festbier Combo, made up of grilled bratwurst, knackwurst and Hungarian sausages, freshly made-in-house pretzel sticks and Gordon Biersch garlic fries, accompanied by their signature beer mustards.

Executive Chef Bill Heckler gave traditional Oktoberfest fare a Gordon Biersch twist with the addition of the Festbier Steak Tacos.

Atlanta Bread Among Top 5 Healthiest Fast Food Options

SMYRNA, GA -- In the recently released 2010 Zagat Fast Food Survey, which included 136 national restaurant chains, Atlanta Bread received top five distinctions in two key categories.

The survey's more than 6,500 participants voted Atlanta Bread among the top five large chains (places with less than 5,000 locations) in the Healthy Options and Facilities categories. This is the second straight year that Atlanta Bread placed among the top five chains in these two categories.
