ATLANTA -- With  over 18 years of volunteering and being active in Atlanta’s non-profit sector, Lynn Barfield will become the new community ambassador and event coordinator at 10th & Piedmont and Gilbert’s Café & Bar. The partnership comes after 11 years of friendship with owners and brothers Sean and Gilbert Yeremyan. In this role, Barfield organizes fundraisers and charity events, coordinates large group reservations, provides guest feedback to management to improve overall operations and promotes planned events and community-focused philosophy of both restaurants. She also acts as the part-time maître d' at 10th & Piedmont during the week.

The menu is available at all Atlanta-area locations, featuring the best seasonal offerings and a mix of familiar favorites with a chef’s twist.

“With colder weather on the way, we like to create our own version of comfort foods with the freshest seasonal ingredients,” says Executive Chef/Co-founder John C. Metz. “The wintertime additions are full of savory, hearty ingredients that are unique, crave-able and satisfying,” he adds.

MIDTOWN -- 10th & Piedmont, a new restaurant and lounge from brothers Sean and Gilbert Yeremyan, is now open at the iconic corner in Midtown Atlanta. Located in the former Outwrite Bookstore space, the restaurant specializes in seasonally inspired dishes, creatively portioned into small bites to easily share.

“We feel very lucky to have been a part of the Midtown community since 2000 when we opened Gilbert’s Café & Bar,” Gilbert Yeremyan said. “With 10th & Piedmont, Sean and I wanted to continue the legacy of Outwrite Bookstore and create a diverse restaurant that stands for equality.”

Bantam + Biddy begins breakfast, table service

ATLANTA -- Ansley Mall’s newest fast-casual restaurant, Bantam + Biddy, is now offering breakfast. The restaurant serves breakfast Monday through Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. In addition to a new breakfast menu, the restaurant has changed service formats. Instead of placing their orders at the counter, guests can now look forward to table service throughout the day.

“We welcome and value every diner’s feedback, which has helped us make the decision to switch from counter to table service and to offer breakfast,” said Chef and Co-owner Shaun Doty. “Our Ansley Park neighbors let us know what we could do to make their experience at Bantam + Biddy even better, and we’re happy to accommodate their requests.”

ATLANTA -- Texas-based Mi Cocina opens its first Atlanta restaurant on Monday, November 12, at the northwest corner of Peachtree and 11th streets in the 12th & Midtown development. After 21 years in Texas, Mi Cocina will introduce Atlanta to its Tex-Mex style of traditional Mexican cooking, using only the highest quality ingredients made fresh daily.

“Atlanta is the ideal city for our next Mi Cocina,” said Ray Washburne, co-founder and co-owner. “The city of Atlanta has culinary sophistication and we’re confident that our combination of authentic Tex-Mex cuisine and warm, friendly service will really connect with Atlanta diners and their families.”
