Door 44 Goes Pink for Breast Cancer

No, Door 44 hasn’t come down with a case of edifice chickenpox; if you were wondering. They’ve gone pink to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

During the month of October, Door 44 decided to go with a bold artistic display featuring pink painted polka dots on the exterior of the building. The venue hopes to use its high traffic location to remind local revelers and visitors to Midtown of the importance of breast self-examination and to raise general awareness about the disease.

On October the 23rd, infamous street artist and muralist, Tyler 'Dax' Rudnak will add a pink ribbon with the words "Pink for a Purpose" to the building during a live event that will also include a silent auction which will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate. Additionally, Door 44 will offer a $9 Chambord Vodka Lemonade during the entire month with proceeds also benefiting Komen Atlanta.
